THE RECIPE :

– 4-5 Almonds, powdered finely in a blender
– 2 Tbsp. Honey
– 2 Tbsp. Argan Oil // can be substituted with Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Olive oil or any nutritious plant oil that is rich in unsaturated fats.

THE BENEFITS :

– Almonds contains unsaturated fats, Vitamin E, Manganese, Magnesium, Copper, Vitamin B2 and several other nutrients that make it very beneficial for the skin. The powdered almond gives exfoliating action to remove dead skin and dry skin.

– Honey is moisturizing, has anti-septic action. Helps bind the almond meal together.

– Argan Oil is 80% unsaturated fats which is makes excellent for dry skin. Also contains natural Vitamin E/Tocopherols, Phenols and Squalene. Helps moisturize and also has anti-ageing and anti-oxidant benefits.

THE METHOD :

– Massage moist skin using this scrub for at least 5 min. Remember to be GENTLE while massaging as you don’t want to be too harsh with the skin. Avoid scrubbing if you have acne.

– Leave the scrub on like a mask for at least 10 minutes after massaging. If you can keep it for 15 minutes, even better!

– Wash it off while gently massaging as you rinse it off your face.

– Finish off with a few drops of your favorite moisturizer or facial oil.
