DIY: GLOW SERUM | Get smooth glowing skin naturally at home | Mamtha Nair
Hi guys welcome back to my channel. Today I am going to share with you guys a very unique serum which will bring out your natural glow in just a few days. So Lets jump straight into the ingredients.
Aloe Vera gel
Rose water
Vitamin C powder which is also called L – ascorbic acid (make sure its 100% pure and water soluble)
Vitamin E capsules
Tea tree essential oil (now this is optional if you don’t have tea tree oil then don’t use it )

Now let’s prepare it
Take a clean bowl and add around half a teaspoon of Vitamin C powder into it. Now add around 3 to 4 teaspoon Aloe Vera gel. Add 3 teaspoon rose water and mix everything very well and make sure that the vitamin C is dissolved into the serum. Now cut open 2 vitamin E capsules and extract the oil into the bowl and also add 5 drops of tea tree essential oil as well. Mix everything very well. You can transfer this into a clean spray bottle or a container up to a month. You can also refrigerate it for a cooling effect. Now let me show you guys how to apply this.
First make sure that your face is clean and then take some rose water into a cotton ball and gently rub it on your face to remove any excess dirt. Then take the serum and shake it before using and just spray a generous amount of the serum onto your face. Make sure that your eyes are closed while spraying the serum. Now gently pat your face. Patting helps your skin to absorb the serum much faster and easily. Use this everyday morning before applying make-up and also at night before going to bed. You will notice your skin glowing in just day.
Benefits
Aloe Vera has been used for centuries for its medicinal and healing properties. It contains vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants that work wonders for the skin. Aloe Vera gel can work as a natural remedy for acne and acne scarring. The antimicrobial properties of aloe Vera help to prevent acne and reduce the redness and inflammation that acne causes. It cleanses and softens the skin without clogging pores, and it’s effective for both men and women. It helps to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles.
Rosewater helps maintain the skin’s pH balance, and also controls excess oil. It has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce the redness of irritated skin & gets rid of acne. The antioxidant properties of rose water help to strengthen skin cells and regenerate skin tissues.
Vitamin C helps to reduce sun burns caused by the exposure to ultra violet radiation to a great extent. Vitamin C increases the formation of elastin which thickens, protects and heals the skin cells. The thickening effect helps retain moisture, increases the skin circulation and plumps up the skin surface. It lightens dark discoloration like skin freckles and age spots and helps to get a younger and smoother skin.
Vitamin E oil works to block free radicals from the body, which play a large part in the aging process. If we can fight off free radicals, then we can reduce wrinkles and keep the skin youthful-looking.
The antimicrobial, antifungal and antibacterial properties of tea tree oil are beneficial for the treatment of a number of skin diseases and infections. Tea tree oil is an excellent treatment for acne.
