DIY All Natural Aloe Vera Skin Moisturizer
6 Tbsp of Extra Virgin UNREFINED Coconut Oil
1 Tbsp of Aloe Vera Gel
3 drops of lavender Essential Oil
3 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil
***please remember to store in a cool dry place as coconut oil does liquefy when warm.***
I love adding the tea tree essential oil (aka Melaleuca) because of it’s anti fungal, anti bacterial properties. Tea tree is a natural acne fighter. It really helps aid in my quest for clear skin! Lavender is also great for soothing the skin, reducing swelling, redness and irritation of the skin.
You can choose the essential oil of your choice to create a great smelling moisturizer.
The Aloe Vera & coconut oil really work like a miracle cream to drive moisture into my dry skin. It’s VERY hydrating without being sticky or heavy…….and best of ALL it’s au naturale! No harsh synthetic chemicals or parabens!
This DIY skin moisturizer doesn’t have to be limited to the face, I enjoy using it all over my body too.
