CSCS Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C Serum

CSCS Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C Serum
I became aware of the CSCS brand when I was seeking a remedy for my dark undereye circles and found the CSCS Advanced Eye Cream. I was very impressed with the Advanced Eye Cream within the first few weeks of using it and was even more impressed over time with how well it addressed my dark circles; they seemed to shrink in size and became lighter. So when I saw they had a Vitamin C serum, I was excited to try it and was not disappointed. I have some dark brown sun damage spots and a few acne scars that have turned brown over time. I also wanted to increase collagen production around my forehead and eye area to reduce the formation of new lines and wrinkles.

EXPERIENCE
This CSCS Vitamin C Serum is a lightweight serum that does not leave a sticky or dry, flaky residue; this 20% Vitamin C is suitable for applying during the day under sunscreen and makeup. There is also Hyaluronic Acid that makes skin soft and moist without being greasy. There is no detectible scent on the application or upon dry down. It dries quickly.

About half a dropper full is the amount I use per application for my face, under eyes and my throat. At times, I use some extra dabbed directly on pimples, red spots, a broken capillary, or if my eleven lines appear deeper due to late night reading.

HOW I USE & APPLY VITAMIN C SERUM
I like to use Vitamin C serum during the day and Retinol serum at night to maximize my collagen production and lighten the appearance of brown spots, acne scars, and the dark circles under my eyes. I wash my face, or if I have already washed my face, then I lightly dampen my skin, so the Vitamin C has some moisture as a base. I apply this serum on my under eyes and browbone but not on my eyelid. When it is dry, I dab on an eye cream over the Vitamin C. Then I apply a moisturizer to my entire face.

PACKAGING
It comes in a cobalt blue bottle to limit the exposure to light, which is advantageous in a mostly natural product with limited preservative chemicals. There is a dropper top. Some dermatologists recommend refrigerating Vitamin C serums to keep maximum potency.

RESULTS
Hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone had improved before wrinkles did, but the Hyaluronic Acid temporarily plumps the skin, so wrinkles are less apparent from the first application. Real wrinkle reduction happens when enough collagen is produced in the area of the wrinkle itself to alleviate some of the sagging skin that causes the wrinkle. But the darkness of the wrinkle improved within a few weeks.
